Adieu to Mongolia

Exaxtly after two weeks, I will be leaving Mongolia for good.
I have been here for 9 months, in between I made two short trips to India to join my family.
Since I am alone here, I should be happy to go back and be with my family.

But, in this 9 moths I have created an emotional bond with the church here.
When I came here, I never new anything about Mongolia and any church here.
My search through internet made me to find a church here.
From the second week itself I started going there.
I enjoyed a wonderful fellowship with the believers and there after I never failed on any sunday or any wednesday when there is a Bible study.
Slowly I started encouraging the youths and taking lessons for them.
Ah, all the believers love me so much and I love them too.
I feel very emotional when I leave this place.
Beacuse on this earth, I will never see them again.
Ofcourse at the Trumpet Call, I will be with them. That is a blessed hope.

I feel sad about many believers, because of the problems they face in life.
There are a number of single mothers (they became single mothers before they came to faith), bachelors (brothers and sisters) who cant find a match because the church is small in Mongolia and they want a believing partner, the low income and finacial struggles believers pass through.
But I thank God for the strong faith they have in Jesus and the sacrfices they do because of their faith.
I pray for them and God Bless them.
May be in this world, they cannot have a materially enjoying life, but sure, in eternity their  reward will be great.

God bless the believers and Churches in Mongolia
God Bless this coutry tand save many, where moral standards are very poor because of the culture.
Amen!

Another Human Leap close to 'Babel' & 'Eternity'

In Genesis 11:1-9, we learn of a united human race, one in both language and purpose, determined to build a tower in the Plain of Shinar.
The construction of the tower was to serve as a monument to human achievement. The attitude of the builders was indicative of those who had rejected God as their Creator.
God looked at their construction, exclaimed "Nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them"
and God confused their Language (Communication) and scattered them all around the Globe.

But at this age, irony is seeing again a united mankind, language is no more a problem, they are assembling once again in the very place where mankind was originally scattered abroad by God because of their ungodly and ill-conceived unity platform?

With modern technology, time and space has considerably shrinked. People can commute fast between continents and communicate instantly through intenet and communication devices. All techynologies are converging into Mobile phones, it is like a virtual presence, anywhere, anytime.

The characteristics of 'Eternity' are - no time (time-lessness), no space (no space constraint), (you can be anywhere instantly, ther is no change in time) and no death.

We inhabit a world defined by “spacetime”—a virtual grid in whose context all objects and events are assigned a “place” which defines their relationship vis-a-vis each other by placing an X amount of “distance” between them. Bridging this distance “takes time”: to get from event A to event B, one must first pass through the seconds or centuries which separate them, one at a time; for object A to exert an influence upon object B, it must first surmount the millimeters or miles which separate them, one at a time. In other words, getting from point A to point B is a process—a sequence of actions occurring one after the other.

In eliminating the constraints of Time&Sapce, there is considerable advancement, genetic theory is working towards eliminating death(?).

God said at Babel, "Nothing they plan to do will be impossible for man" and inetervened.
God is watching and will intervene in the history of man again once and for all.

I like to draw your attention to the recent advancement in quantum physics by U.S. physicist David Wineland and France's Serge Haroche who shared the 2012 Nobel Prize in physics.
A Nobel prize for being in two places at once
They proved that one partcle can be in two places and in two states at the same time. What does this mean? You can be in many places at the same time.
What is the implication? I leave it to your inquisite mind.

The Person and Message is same - Jesus - God who came in the form of Man

Gospel of John Chapter 1 begins - "In the beginning was Word, Word was with God, and Word was God".
This concept is diffcult to be undertood  except with extraordinary help.
This is a pointer to Jesus Christ, and says who He is.

Mr. Ravi Zacharias grew up in a Hindu culture, and has studied world religions and observed a fundamental distinction between Jesus Christ and the founders of other major religions:-

“In all of these, there emerges an instruction, a way of living. It is not Zoroaster to whom you turn; it is Zoroaster to whom you listen. It is not Buddha who delivers you; it is his Noble Truths that instruct you. It is not Mohammad who transforms you; it is the beauty of the Koran that woos you. By contrast, Jesus did not only teach or expound His message. He was identical with His message".

A person and his message is same!!!

This point is underscored by the number of times in the Gospels that Jesus’ teaching message was simply “Come to me” or “Follow me” or “Obey me.”, "I am the Way, I am the Truth, I am the Life".
No religious leader in the world can claim what Jesus claimed through these words. He is Synonymou with his message.

In "The World’s Great Religions", Huston Smith observed, “Only two people ever astounded their contemporaries so much that the question they evoked was not ‘Who is he?’ but ‘What is he?’ They were Jesus and Buddha. The answers these two gave were exactly the opposite. Buddha said unequivocally that he was a mere man, not a godalmost as if he foresaw later attempts to worship him. Jesus, on the other hand, claimed … to be divine"

Also, Jesus made it clear that his primary mission was to forgive sins, something only God could do.

Jesus’ friends and enemies were staggered again and again by what he said and did. He would be walking down the road, seemingly like any other man, then turn and say something like, ‘Before Abraham was, I am.’ Or, ‘If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.’ Or, very calmly, after being accused of blasphemy, he would say, ‘The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.’ To the dead he might simply say, ‘Come forth,’ or, ‘Rise up.’ And they would obey. To the storms on the sea he would say, ‘Be still.’ And to a loaf of bread he would say, ‘Become a thousand meals.’ And it was done immediately.

Jesus spoke of having always existed with his Father. And when Philip asked Jesus to show them the Father, Jesus said, “Philip, have I been with you so long and you don’t know me? Whoever has seen me, has seen the Father.”
Jesus made the audacious statement, “Before Abraham was, I AM.” He told Martha and others around her, “I AM the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he is dead, yet shall he live.”.
Likewise, Jesus would make statements like, “I AM the light of the world”,“I AM the only way to God,” or, “I AM the “truth.”
These and several other of his claims were preceded by the sacred words for God, “I AM” (ego eimi).

What did Jesus mean by such statements, and what is the significance or the term, “I AM”?
We must go back to context in the Hebrew Scriptures, when Moses asked God His name at the burning bush, God answered, “I AM.” He was revealing to Moses that He is the one and only God who is outside of time and has always existed. Incredibly, Jesus was using these holy words to describe himself.

C. S. Lewis initially considered Jesus a myth. But this literary genius who knew myths well, concluded that Jesus had to have been a real person. Furthermore, as Lewis investigated the evidence for Jesus, he became convinced that not only was Jesus real, but he was unlike any man who had ever lived. Lewis writes,
“Then comes the real shock,’ wrote Lewis: ‘Among these Jews there suddenly turns up a man who goes about talking as if He was God. He claims to forgive sins. He says He always existed. He says He is coming to judge the world at the end of time.”
In his quest for truth, Lewis knew that he could not have it both ways with the identity of Jesus. Either Jesus was who he claimed to be—God in the flesh—or his claims were false. And if they were false, Jesus could not be a great moral teacher. He would either be lying intentionally or he would be a lunatic with a God complex.

If Jesus were to have simply dropped the claim of being God’s Son, he never would have been condemned. It was his claim to be God and his unwillingness to recant of it that got him crucified.

The eyewitnesses to Jesus Christ actually spoke and acted like they believed he physically rose from the dead after his crucifixion. If they were wrong then Christianity has been founded upon a lie. But if they were right, such a miracle would substantiate all Jesus said about God, Himself, and us.

The greatest question in human history is, “Who is the real Jesus Christ?” Bono, Lewis, and countless others have concluded that God visited our planet in human form. But if that is true, then we would expect him to be alive today. And that is exactly what his followers believe.

How to Know God

How to Know God

In the Bible, God tells us that he created us to have unending fellowship with him, peace with our fellow man, harmony and joy within our family relationships, and to have dominion over the world in which he placed us. But we chose to go another way.
We learn in the same Bible that we, through our forefathers, chose to live our lives for ourselves, rather than to have fellowship with God. This choice of selfishness (sin) lead to our earthly death, to no peace with our fellow man, to disharmony and sadness within our family relationships, and to a lack of proper care of the world in which he placed us. Because of this, our future changed to one of eternal separation (death) from fellowship with God after physical death, completely without hope of joy or peace.
The Bible goes on to record how God provided the remedy for our chosen path of selfishness (sin). He send to us His son Jesus Christ. This son lived a life of fellowship, peace, harmony, and joy in full fellowship with God. Though innocent of any wrongdoing, he voluntarily allowed himself to suffer and die as a guilty lawbreaker, and received upon himself the full penalty of our selfishness (sin) by death on a cross.
The wonderful conclusion recorded in the Bible is that this Jesus rose from the dead and returned to God. He is forever our representative before God. He enables us today to enjoy fellowship with God, peace with our fellow man, harmony and joy within our family relationships, and to exercise proper dominion over this world in which he has placed us. We need only to pray and ask him to come in and rule in our hearts and lives.
Simply talk to God and say, "Thank you, God, for loving me and sending your Son to die on the cross for the wrongs I have done. I now choose to make Jesus the Lord of my life. Help me to be the kind of person that You want me to be. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

Bible and Science

We quite often hear about contracdictions between Bible and Ccience. But is it really so? Can we have examples where Bible and Science converge?

1. Creation
For millennia, Creation theory was ridiculed for believing that the Universe was created and not evolved. In the latter half of the 20th century did evidence come out overwhelmingly on Creation side. As Dr. Arno Penzias (one of the three who received a Nobel Prize for identifying the "background radiation" that became one of the pillars of the current Big Bang cosmology) writes, "science has finally vindicated Moses (Author of the Penta books) over Aristotle ( page 78 in Margenau and Varghese, Cosmos, Bios, Theos, Open Court, 1992.)"

2. Faith of Abraham
Abraham was a maverick for believing that all the forces of the cosmos are really a single force. This is the contention of science for the past 100 years and the driving force behind the search for the Unified Field Theory (That we call the Omniptent, Omnipresent, Omniscient God)

3. Logic defied
Bible's account of Creation and of events that defy the laws of physics -- and even defy logic -- implies that the laws of logic are not absolute -- i.e. it is not impossible for those laws to have been created otherwise, and even now, the Creator could supersede them or adjust them at whim. An inkling of this kind of thinking opened the way for modern mathematics, breaking away from the Euclidian view that the axioms of geometry are absolute "self evident truths," and laying the ground for Einstein's relativity. Indeed, later attempts to demonstrate that mathematics is based on logic have all failed. Thinkers today question the absoluteness of logic itself. (Tzvi Saks, On the Nature of Truth in Mathematics, in B'Or HaTorah vol 9, pp. 95-103- "Mathematics! Another one of my mistakes")

4. Divine Providence & Principle of Uncertainity
Bible, by presenting the concept of Divine Providence within nature, requires a universe that is only loosely linear, rejecting the determinist concept that cause and effect are inherently linked. This is an outcome of the Principle of Uncertainty, first enunciated by Heisenberg in 1928. Over the past 30 years, experimentation has repeatedly affirmed this concept. (John Gribbin, In Search of Schrodinger's Cat, Bantam, 1979. Uncertainity is an inherent characteristic of the universe, that there are no perfectly knowable ("discrete") states. As Heisenberg himself put it to the philosophers of his time: Without discrete causes, there are no pre-determined effects -- and determinism is out the window)

5. Matter not an isolated Entity E=MC2
Bible does not talk in terms of matter as a self-contained substance, but as an event, a 'word'. Today we understand matter as simply a dynamic of concentrated energy, as in the familiar formula E=mc2. Or, in physicist David Bohm's definition, "That which unfolds, whatever the medium".

6. Witnesses & Intuition
Bible relies on witnesses and observation over intuition. This is called empiricism. It is what distinguishes the Scientist from the Hellenist or medieval philosopher.

7. Role of Human Mind
Bible recognizes the role of human consciousness as an active, rather than passive participant in forming reality. This is the basis for the standard model of quantum mechanics first enunciated by John von Neumann in 1932. (1. Tzvi Freeman, Knowledge and Reality, Chabad.org., 2001; 2.In Mathematical Foundations of Quantum Mechanics. Eugene Wigner later became the major proponent of this idea)

8. Concept of Synergy
Bible consistently relies on the concept of synergy: The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
In old testament -Israel as Nation, in new testament - the Church, Jesus' teaching of unity in prayer are all ruled by this principle.
This has become an essential principle in many modern disciplines, from sociology to chemistry too.

 9. Quantum
Bible, in many halachic applications, relies on "quantum" -- smallest possible increments of change within space and time. This was the postulate of Max Planck that opened the field of quantum mechanics.

10. Genetics
Bible describes all of humankind as descending from a single man and a single woman.The overwhelming genetic evidence concurs, although the dating is still somewhat skewed. They're still catching up. {Men (y chromosone) from Noah. Women (mitochondrial DNA) from Eve. The women on the ark were from various families, while the men were from a single father and mother.}

11. Cosmos
Bible describes planet earth and the entire cosmos in holistic terms. Science today is moving sharply in this direction, in life sciences and in physics and cosmology.

12. Archaeological evidences
Bible provides inference to many of the customs, beliefs, politics, technologies, etc. of ancient times at which historians once balked and archeologists have only recently confirmed.

13. Governance
Bible prescribes constitutional governance. public education and popular involvement. Sociologists describe how these elements generate stability and productivity in a society.

14. Environment
Bible prescribes a responsible stewardship of our environment which is the creastion and gift of God. First man Adam was put in charge of the garden Aden. Today we have demonstrated that such an approach is the only one possible for sustainable life on the planet.

James Gilmour - 'Appostle' to Mongolia

Mongolia is now a developing economy and the capital Ulaanbaatar is connected by flight. 100 years back that was not the case. Since I am in Mongolia, I was searhing the history of Gospel in this place. I came across these great people. I praise and thank God foe them. These days God is visiting this place beacuse of these people I believe.

James Gilmour (1843-1891) was a Scottish missionary to Mongolia who made lonely, heroic efforts to preach the gospel to a people steeped in Lamaist forms of Buddhism; spending summers with nomadic Mongols on the plains of Mongolia and winters with Mongols in Peking. After his wife died in 1885, he labored in eastern Mongolia until his death at age 47, after 21 years of missionary service.

Emily Prankard Gilmour: Traveled from London, England, to Mongolia to marry James Gilmour on December 8, 1874. Learned to speak the Mongol language and willingly shared her husband's experiences and dangers. Twice she spent the summer travelling about the plains of Mongolia with him, sleeping in a tent, and enduring hardships. Physically unable to endure such a hard life, she worked among the Chinese girls in Peking, where her husband joined her in the winter to work among the Mongols who came there. They had three boys: James (Jimmie), William (Willie), and Alexander (Alec or Alick) who died as a toddler. Mrs. Gilmour died on September 19, 1885, not long after the birth of their third son.

Hero of 'What I can Give'

Today I read in the facebook Former Indian President Dr. APJ Kalam's great gesture of appreciating the Industrialist in Kochi (India) Mr. Kochouseph Chittellappilly.

What Dr. Kalam wrote on Mr. Chittellappilly is reproduced below:
https://www.facebook.com/#!/OfficialKalam
"Yesterday , I inaugurated the 31st NIPM National Conference at Kochi where a number of HR managers, industrialists, academicians and students were present. There I met a special person who was given a special recognition amidst the gatheri...
ng. His name is Shri Kochouseph Chittilappilly (in pic) and he is a well-known industrialist in the field of electrical equipment, construction and services in the nation and the state. He has been amongst the highest taxpayers in the state and is also very active in the social service domain.
In 2011, in a touching gesture of giving, Mr. Chittilappilly donated his own kidney to an unknown ailing poor truck driver. This set in motion a unique movement called, “The Kidney Chain”, wherein a relative of one patient would donate to another patient, whose relative will in turn donate onwards and so on. Moreover, over 500 employees of his own company pledged to donate their organs after death.
What a great spirit of giving is exhibited by this self-made industrialist. Yesterday, when I saw the radiant smiling face of Mr. Chittilappilly, one thought immediately came to my mind – Giving makes you happy."
(Dr. APJ Kalam, former President of the Republic of  India)

The recognition of Mr. Kochouseph as a hero of 'What I can Give' by such a big personality like Dr. Kalam is great. It is because of his sacrificial giving of one of his vital organ - kidney.

When I read the news of  Kochouseph's gesture in the news paper some time back in Kochi, I had thought about it. There are people who are ready to donate organ after their death. It is good. But how many can donate their vital oragn like kidney while they are living? May be some are ready to give to their dear and near ones incase of dire need to save their life.
But Chittillappally gave it to some unknown person whom he never knew. It is real sacrifice.
I appreciate and salute mr. Chittillappilly Ouseph.

But still a greate sacrifice - Biggest Hero of 'What I can Give'!!!
I want to tell you of bigger sacrifice. It is none but Jesus Christ's.
God gave his only son Jesus Christ to save mankind.
Jesus Christ gave his Life and Blood to save sinners from Eternal Damnation.

Chittillappilly's kidney can extend the life of the patient for few more years.

But what after that?
Where will be the etenity?

Jesus Christ gave his life and blood so that You will live Eternally.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ that whoever believe in Him will not persish, But will have eternal Life" (John 3:16 - Bible)

If you believe this, You will have eternal life.
Otherwise how long you live in this world does not matter, But after that your fate will be Hell.

God Bless You

Second Law of Thermodynamics - Law of Etropy

Second Law of Thermonamics - Law of Entropy is an established law according to which a system left to itself will increase its entropy. Entropy is a measure of 'disorder' in a system. This means, any system left to iself will move from an orderly state to a disorderly state (from good to bad).

This law can be seen in nature. An abondoned motor bike will never become better, it will start eroding and finally good for nothing. An abandoned building also has the same fate. Any system cannot move from bad to good by itself. Making something better needs an external involvement by some one.
This law can be seen every where. But mind, the theory of evolution is just the opposite. From nothing to something and from an Amoeba to Man who is more orderly in milllion ways.

Human nature is also same by the law. Have a natural life and live as you like, the result will be damnation and hell. It is because of the sinful nature of man. He has always the love for bad things and not for good things (a carnal mind).

Bible says "There is none good, even one", "All has sinned and lost the glory of God" (Romans Chapter 3).
To make man good, God has to involve in the life of man.
Jesus Christ who was God came into this earth to involve in the life of man and make him a better person, from Eternal Condemnation to Eternal Life.
Bible says - He died on the cross as a substitute of the condemnation every man should have suffered.
Those who believe in him will be devoid of the eternal condemnation.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son Jesus Christ that whoever believe in Him should not perish, but will have Eternal Life" (Bible -John 3:16)

There is an end to this universe (by the law of  Entropy itself), God is going to involve in this Universe which is moving to worse. There is an end to your life in this world.
But that is not the end, there is life beyond.
Think of what is your destination after death? It depends on your selection and decision now.
God does not want any body to go to hell. So only He gave Jesus Christ.

Mars Landing by NASA

Nasa's Rover named Curiosity successfylly landed in the 'Gale Crater' on Mars at 05:17:57.3 UTC on August 6, 2012.

Curiosity transmitted Hazcam images confirming orientation. Due to the Mars-Earth distance at the time of landing and the limited speed of radio commuinication signals, the landing was not registered on Earth for another 14 minutes. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter sent a photograph of Curiosity descending under its parachute, taken by its HiRISE camera, during the landing procedure.

Six senior members of the Curiosity team presented a news conference a few hours after landing confirming the same. And President Barack Obama congratulated the team saying "You made us all proud".

Indeed th Mars landing is a major feet for the whole humanity and we all needs to be proud.

It reminds the Appollo mission,  back in 1969 when  United States's Apollo 11, the first manned mission to land on the Moon on 20 July 1969. I remember hearing the reports of landing live on radio when I was a boy.

Proud of the Mars landing  achievement, NASA team responded- 'We're NASA and We Know It' and they blended the landing event into a music video parody styled after the leopard-thonged LMFAO's music video "Sexy and I Know It.".

Objective of Mar's mission is not to find life on Mars, but to do a series of experiements regarding minerals, rocks, soils, and environment conditions on mars and see whether it is conducive for life.

No doubt, Man will futher advance in his quest for exploration in outer space.

I would like to turn your attenstion to Bible on this:

"For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else". (Bible - Isiah 45:18)

God has created the Earth for man to be inhabited, no other plantes. There is nothing like the earth nowhere in the Universe in God's plan regarding man.

Again, even if man reach the outer stellar spaces, bible says - He will be brought down.

"Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD". (Bible Obadiah 1:4)

And Jesus said :
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36)

CERN Scientists still in Darkness

CERN scientists who research for the ULTIMATE TRUTH OF THE UNIVERSE by looking for the 'God Particle' is still in darkness.
They are looking for the very fundamental particle called the 'God Particle' which is responsible for the Universe. Trillions of Euros have been already spent in the Project.

Their recent much fan fared discovery was that the particle 'nutrino' travels faster than light!!!
If so, it would have questioned the fundamentals of all existing scientific theories which is based on the Einstien's theory that nothing can travel faster than light.

Alas, now the CERN scientists say they were wrong. Their experiement was misjudged due to a LOOSE CABLE!!!
http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story/2012/02/22/technology-faster-than-light-neutrinos.html

It is so much astonishing that very simple things go into big mis judgements and Is it not a mockery of the whole research projects?

When will CERN scientists find the God Particle? Even if they find something, how can we say it is true?
There are millions of loose cables around HADRON collider they use to research!

Bible says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

Evolution - A theory for Immoral Convenience

Antony Flew was an atheist from the age of 15. His book "The Presumption of Atheism" is very famous.
Many people bluntly believe that science evidence suggested that God does not exist.
After all his life teaching and preaching Atheism, Antony Flew change his stand at the age of 82.
Why?
Not becuase of being afraid of the consequences of promoting atheism a life time.
Flew was convinced by modern science findings. He was amazed by the language that is written into the DNA of every cell of each of our bodies.
He said “What I think the DNA material has done is show that intelligence must have been involved in getting these extraordinarily diverse elements together. The enormous complexity by which the results were achieved look to me like the work of intelligence.”

Science does not support evolution in any way. In fact, science does more to prove that evolution is not possible than the other way around.

Adamant devotees of Evolution quite often hide the real reason for their evolution theory commitment.

Aldous Huxley

One devout follower of Evolution was Aldous Huxley.
Late in his life Aldous Huxley wrote:
"I had motives for not wanting the world to have a meaning (Evolution); consequently assumed that it had none, and was able without any difficulty to find satisfying reasons for this assumption.
No doubt, for myself and my contempraries the philosophy of meaninglessness was essentially an instrument of liberation.
The liberation we desired was simultaneously liberation from a certain political and economic system and liberation from a certain system of morality. We objected to the morality because it interfered with our sexual freedom..."

Darwinism
Darwinism undermines the idea that man is made in the image of God.
It undermines the idea that man is a unique rational being.
If Darwinism is correct, there is no support for the idea of human dignity.

A biased group of Intellegentia
The only way for evolution to triumph is to remove the alternative! So the universities and research institutions do not encourage the alternative.
Organizations like ACLU say:-
"We do not want to confuse our children with phrases like 'In God we trust' or 'Under God' or things like the 'Ten Commandments'.
We must acknowledge that we are supreme and that our infallible intelligence and the power of our tremendous will is all that is needed to save us from ourselves!  We do not acknowledge a need for God!"
Nature Magazine September 1999 said:
“Even if all the data point to an intelligent designer, such a hypothesis is excluded because it is not naturalistic”.

A Theory for Immoral Convenience
So even if everything we find shows us that there had to be a “maker” and all the data shows that the bible is true, they will simply discard that because is doesn’t fit with their line of thinking.
What you believe colors your whole life, your world view, your attitude, and how you make moral decisions.
Our view of the world is what guides us in everything we do.
Hitler, Carl Marx, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer -  they all believed in evolution and had no moral values so they became truly evil.

What Bible Says:
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers , walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Scoffers in the last days walking after their own lusts, unwilling to acknowledge the supremacy of God, willingly ignorant, and intentionally hiding!
They donot want to give up their immoral lifestyle.
They do not want to hear “thou shalt not”.
So they deny that God even exists and use whatever means they can concoct to prove a lie is truth in order to justify themselves and satisfy their lust.

Tent Making in Mongolia

Mongolia –A not much known land between China & Russia, is known as the land of Mysteries and the land of the Blue Skies. Mongolia was the biggest empire which world ever saw, called the “Mongolian Empire” in the 13th century under the notorious emperor Gengish Khan.
Modern Historian Prof. Jack Weatherford in his book "Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World" highlights the military brilliance of Genghis Khan; while the Roman empire took 200 years to reach its fullest extent, Genghish Kahan's conquests covered an empire nearly four times its area between 1206 and 1227. Eventually, by the 1270s, the Mongol Empire would cover an area "considerably larger than all of North America".
Indian Moghul Emperors were descendants of Gengish Khan. It is a land where you can experience wide open spaces & skies, snow covered mountains, forests, deserts, crystal clear rivers and lakes, extreme climates ranging (-)40C to +25C, and the traditional hospitality of the nomads.
Mongolia has significant contributions to the world – They introduced the paper currency, postal system & the concept of diplomatic immunity.

During the 19th and 20th cetruries Mongolia underwent many violent battles and occupations by Chinese and Russians. Recently till the Russian Perestroika in the 1980s, Mongolia was a satellite country under Russia. Now Mongolia is a true independent democracy with a democratically elected government and a secure place to live.
Due to Mongolia's strategic position between China & Russia, US & India were the first few countries who recognised Mongolia when it became free. There are US & Indian Embassies here although the foriegn population is very less. Indian president Pratibha Patel visited Mongolia last year.
While in the country side although life is nomadic with people living in tents named 'Ger', you can see herders on horses talking on mobile phones. Majority of Mongolians are poor herders and live in harsh conditions fighting extreme weather, their daily income is around US$1.5.

The capital UlaanBaatar match the US city Manhattan with Sky scrapers and locals living in true western style.
Monglian government encourages population growth, mothers with more than 3 children are given medals on Mothers&Children's day. Unwed single mothers are very common and official marriage solemnization is rare. In the case of  a family breakup, it is usually mother's responsibilty to bring up children. In Mongolian culture women have an upper hand over men.
Regarding religion-Historically Mongolians were animists and considering the open Blue Sky as god, now the religions are Tibetan Buddhism, Muslim, Christian and Shamanism. Christians forms a small minority of 2% in a population of 2.8 million.
There is tremendous religious freedom in Mongolia. You can practice and spread your religion without any hindrance. People are very friendly and responsive. Churches need to be registered under government and foreign missionaries need work permit like any other profession. Getting permits for Missionaries are very tough and usually they come as part of Non-Governmental Organizations(NGO) working in development activities. There are not many foreign missionaries. Few who are there,  are concentrating in cities and near suburbs.
There are very few churches of the pattern of New Testament local churches both in the cities and the country side. Although these have been started by   foreign missionaries, currently they are administered and run as typical Mongolian churches by local leadership. Church worship & other activties are in local language. The capital has an Interdenominational Congregation which meets on Sunday afternoon with a crowd of over 500. Most of the inner Mongolia on the country side is unreached for Gospel. These places are difficult to travel and most of the year have severe cold weather and difficult living conditions. Practically no foreign missionaries venture to these areas.

It is just over 20 years that true Gospel reached Mongolia in receent times. The churches are new and believers are of first generation. Many of them have come from the traditional cultural back ground. They need to go a long way. There are brothers and sisters from broken families who have come to Christ. So they have all the problems of their traditional  cultural life style versus following  Jesus. When you interact closely with the believers, you understand their many problems. They need a lot of spiritual nurture and nourishment. It is happy to see that they strive to mature spiritually sacrificing many things in their life.
Mongolian economy being in the nascent opening up stage, educated youths are crazy of learning English. Hence English classes are used as an opportunity by local churches to woo youths in the cities – the text book prescribed is often the New Testament and Gospels! While learning English, they learn about Jesus.
Mongolia has its own language with scripts similar to Russian and full Bible is available in Mongolian language.

The author is in fellowship with a local church in the capital city. Along with tent making, is involved in the ministries of the church and currently helping in porting the Mongolian Language Bible in mobiles & smart phones.  Author also takes bible classes for the youths on sundays. It is motsly a mentoring job.
Within the last three months, the church had two baptisms, an indication of God visiting the people of this country. (In the picture is seen the Author with 2 youths who got baptized recently at the Mongolian church).

It is wonderful to have spiritual fellowship with the saints in a strange land .
PRAY FOR MONGOLIA.

And they sang a new song: "…….because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation”.

Earthquake, Tsunami!! - Just Start of Birth Pangs

Confusion prevailed almost half of the Globe as an Earthquake hit parts of Indonesia on Wednesday, April 12, 2012.
http://in.news.yahoo.com/live--8-9-magnitude-quake-rocks-indonasia--tsunami-warning-issued.html
The link above shows the confusion and turmoil far away in India,
how people are worried, Natural!!

But these happenings will repeat and will be a regular affair in future.
This is the beginning of the 'birth pangs' as Jesus said, to welcome worst calamities in the future.
Bible talks of the end times, the end of the world and the Secong Coming of Jesus Christ.
It will be a suprise for many, but not for those who believe in Jesus Christ.
My dear readers, please read other titles in my Blog.
Are you ready to face the worst?
Are you ready to face the end of the world?
Are you ready, if it is going to be the end of your life?
What is beyond, after your life in this wolrd?
Have you ever thought of it?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul

Mongolian language Alphabets are similar to Russian, but not exactly same. They are easy to learn as they have some similarity to English Alpahabets in shape, but phonetically different.
May God help the Spread of Gospel in Mongolia.

What good will it be for a Man if he Gains the Whole World, Yet Forfeits His SOUL?

"What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?"

Pop Vocal Legend Whitney Houston is Found Dead!

The award-winning "I Will Always Love You" singer died at the age of 48. The timing of her death, the eve of the Grammys, the biggest music event of the year, makes the horrible news even more tragic to music world. She ruled the pop music world in the 80s and 90s.
The six time Grammy Winner had problems later with her married life and then with drug.

Sad that most of  world's Celebraties have a tragic end. They attain the zenith of their popularity and then battle with problems in private life and then have a tragic end.

Jesus said -"What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?"
Nothing in the world - fame, popularity, wealth or nothing can be given in exchange for the soul of a person.

But - Jesus gave His life to Save the Soul of a Sinner.
"For God so loved the world that he gave His One and Only Son Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in him SHALL not PERISH but have ETERNAL LIFE."

A contended life in this wolrd is possible only with the faith in Jesus, and also assurance of eternal life after death.

I Was Wondering!!!

I was wondering
How You hold water in the porous ground?
How You stop the Waves of the Ocean with sand?
And how the water freezes like a Rock?
And how the heavens lighten up in the thuderstorm?
How Snow flakes fall unending from the sky?

Oh, Its all marvelous!!!

Learn to Live

My work is of human nature.
Real life is all I know.
Don't ever confuse the two,  your life and your work.
You will walk out of  your work place this afternoon with only one thing that no one else has.
There will be hundreds of people out there with your same degree; there will be thousands of people doing what you want to do for a living.
But you will be the only person alive who has sole custody of your life.
Your life, your entire life. Not just your life at your work desk, or your life on a bus, or in a car, or at the computer. Not just the life of your mind, but the life of your Heart, Soul & Spirit.
People don't talk about the soul & spirit very much anymore. It's so much easier to write a resume than to craft a soul & spirit. But a resume is a cold comfort on a winter night, or when you're sad, or broke, or lonely, or when you've gotten back the job test results and you feel they're not so good.
I have tried never to let my profession stand in the way of being a good human. I am not the centre of the universe. I show up to people, I listen, I try to laugh.
I am a good friend to my friends, and they to me. Without them, there would be nothing to say to you today, because I would be a cardboard cut out. But I call them on the phone, and I meet them for lunch. I would be rotten or at best mediocre, if those other things were not true. You cannot be really first rate at your work if your work is all you are.
So here's what I wanted to tell you today: Get a life. A real life, not a manic pursuit of the next promotion, the bigger pay check, the larger house
Do you think you'd care so very much about those things if you blew an aneurysm one afternoon, or found a lump in your chest? Get a life in which you notice the smell of salt water pushing itself on a breeze over Seaside Heights, a life in which you stop and watch how a red tailed hawk circles over the water or the way a baby crawla with concentration when she tries to pick up a Cheerio with her thumb and first finger. Get a life in which you are not alone. Find people you love, and who love you. And remember that love is not leisure, it is work. Pick up the phone. Send an e-mail. Write a letter
Get a life in which you are generous. And realize that life is the best thing ever, and that you have no business taking it for granted. Care so deeply about its goodness that you want to spread it around. Take money you would have spent on beers and give it to charity. Work in a soup kitchen. Be a big brother or sister.
All of you want to do well. But if you do not do good too, then doing well will never be enough.
It is so easy to waste our lives, our days, our hours, and our minutes. It is so easy to take for granted the colour of our kids' eyes, the way the melody in a symphony rises and falls and disappears and rises again.
It is so easy to exist instead of to live. I learned to live many years ago. I learned to love the journey, and the ultimate destination. I learned that it is not a dress rehearsal and that today, and more specifically ‘now’ is the only guarantee you get.
I learned to look at all the good in the world and try to give some of it back because I believed in it, completely and utterly. And I tried to do that, in part, by telling others what I had learned.
Consider the lilies of the field. Look at the fuzz on a baby's ear. Read in the backyard with the sun on your face. Learn to be happy. And think of life as a terminal illness, because if you do, you will live it with joy and passion as it ought to be lived.
Life is short and enjoys it to the fullest with thanks to GOD who gave it.
And Finally, After the Journey on this Earth, Where You will be?
Have you ever thought?
Many people think, It is all over HERE.
But the REAL LIFE starts WHEN IT ENDS HERE.

IF A MAN DIE, SHALL HE LIVE AGAIN?
