God's Plantation

"Paul Planted, Apollos watered, and God maketh it Grow.....You are God's Plantation" 1 Cor 3:6...9

This is a beutiful description of God's People - God's Plantation!

God is a great Farmer.

At creation He made a Garden in the East - Eden.
Description of the Garden is very beutiful.
"LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good to eat." Gen 2:9
And there was a river to water the garden.
And the Land was very fertile.

God created Man for Farming.

Lord God put man in eden to keep it and watch over it.
Farming and Gradening is the most wonderful of all human profession. It is greatly enjoyable.
These days people deal with computers, machineries, and things which have no life in it.
Quite ofen People get fedup with work, beacause there is nothing to sincerely enjoy.
But Gradening is not like that-
There is great emotional involvement, great personal care, and great enjoyment.

Jesus said, "I am the true vine and my father is the vinedresser"

We are God's plantation and God has entrusted us to farming.

We are Trees of righteousness!
Isiah 61:3, 65:22
Tree of true righteousness is Jesus Christ.
"And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots" Isiah 11:1

God is looking for Fruits!
"Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes"
Are we giving fruits?

God's church is a closed Garden of every select spices
"A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.
Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard,
Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:
A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.
Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits" Songs 4:5-12

Fragrance should flow out of the church.

Church building is Gardening.
Paul Planted, Apollos Watered and God maketh to grow.
Its a partnership work with co-believers and God.
It is not one man job.

And there is reward
"and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour" 1 cor 3:8

What You See is Temporal, What you dont see is Eternal

"Heavens Declare the Glory of God & the Firmaments declare his handy works".

The creation visible to the naked eyes are only the tip of the iceberg when you think of the invisbile!
